CAT Setup Instructions

Please take some time to follow the instructions for setting up your computer to work with EV360 Ultimate. You will want to make sure your Computer Aided Transcription (CAT) software is configured to work with our My Realtime and My Games modules.

When your CAT software is properly configured, it should send your realtime text from your CAT translation screen into any program capable of receiving text from your computer keyboard. This means that we can use a simple text editor like Notepad to test your CAT software setup. If your text feeds into the text editor correctly, then it should send your translation into the My Realtime Text Input window and My Games Text Input field as well.

This guide provides information about the hardware and software you will need to start practicing with EV360 Ultimate and offers instructions to assist you in getting everything properly configured. If you get stuck or have questions, click the "Contact technical support" link on the EV360 Ultimate sign on dialog box and someone from our support team will be in touch.
